If you choose Invisalign with Senties Family Orthodontics, you’re in great hands. Here’s what you can expect:

How does Invisalign work?

Invisalign works in a series of custom-designed, high-quality clear plastic trays that fit snugly around your teeth. They apply the perfect amount of pressure to guide your teeth into alignment. With each new set of clear aligner trays that you wear, your teeth move one step closer to their ideal positions!

Let’s break down the steps of the Invisalign process:

Step 1: Come meet us!

If you live in San Antonio, you’ll get started at our San Antonio orthodontist office

You’ll get to meet our experienced orthodontist, Dr. Senties, who will perform a thorough smile exam at no cost. Your first visit is on us!

We’ll take some x-rays and diagnostic photos of your smile, do an in-person examination, discuss your needs, preferences and goals from treatment, and use all of this info to design your 100% personalized Invisalign treatment plan.

Step 2: Get your custom aligners!

Once we create your personalized treatment plan, we can get started! Your clear aligners will be custom-designed just for you. You’ll wear your first set of aligners for one to two weeks, depending on your personalized treatment plan.

It’s important that you keep your clear aligners in place for 20 to 22 hours, so they can work their magic!

Step 3: Change your aligners and smile!

Approximately every one to two weeks, you’ll switch your current set of aligners out for a new set of aligners. You’ll wear your clear aligners day and night, only taking them out to eat, brush your teeth, floss, and clean your aligners. It’s that simple! Just wear your clear aligners as instructed in your treatment plan, and watch your smile gradually transform day after day.

Your aligners are virtually invisible, so you can confidently show off your smile makeover as it unfolds.

Step 4: Experience the smile you’ve always dreamed of.

Fast-forward a few months, and ta-da! Your Invisalign journey has come to an end, unveiling a smile as bright as the San Antonio sun. You put in the hard work and you’re reaping the rewards! Now you’ll move into the retention phase of orthodontic treatment.

You’ll start wearing your retainer right away, full-time, for about six months. Wearing your retainer as instructed ensures that your teeth stabilize and maintain their beautiful new alignment for decades to come. After six months go by, you’ll only need to wear the retainer at night when you go to bed.

What is the cost of Invisalign?

Treatment isn’t one-size-fits-all! Your treatment preferences and payment preferences are unique to you. At Senties Family Orthodontics, we accept most major credit cards and insurance plans! We are also proud to offer Sunbit and CareCredit as monthly payment options.

At your complimentary consultation, we’ll discuss your needs to work out a financial plan that makes you feel comfortable. We want a beautiful, healthy smile to be affordable and accessible for you.
